Discover the leader in you and use the potential of your team

What is the difference between a manager and a leader? How could leadership be beneficial? The ability to lead a team to its best performance does not lie only in delegating, planning, and checking. A true leader inspires their people and allows them to achieve more than they would attempt to do themselves. A leader understands motivation and knows how to work with it. A leader does not rely on their formal authority because they have it naturally. Come to our training and learn what kind of leader you could be. You will also try out specific tools and procedures. You will have the opportunity to compare your leadership style with others, and you will get valuable feedback from other participants as well as the trainer. Come and find out what characteristics and skills you need to develop in order to be a motivating, empathetic, and respected leader.

Leadership – the path to realizing your vision

leader’s characteristics – personal profile and approach to leading people
manager vs. leader – relationship to work, to others, to yourself
leadership in practice – using imagination and creativity

Setting goals – the leader determines the way

leader’s competencies – planning, organizing, leading and checking
system within the organization – firm rules vs. space for creativity and ideas
identification with the values of the team and the whole company – leader’s ability to spark enthusiasm

2. day 09:00 - 16:30

Obstacles as challenges

leader’s decisions – how to solve problematic situations
divide and conquer – ways of assigning tasks
leader’s role – natural authority of the leader
there is no command without connections – horizontal and vertical communication
self-motivation and motivation – get the best out of yourself and others

Leadership in everyday life

well-proven strategies and styles of leadership
feedback techniques – positive guidance, praising and reprimanding
delegating – how and to whom tasks should be assigned
coaching – looking for a mutual solution

For foreigners (with advanced level of English) who cannot take part in courses led in Czech

managers, leaders and team leaders
owners of small businesses
this training is not suitable for new managers who want to learn more about leadership - they should attend New to a Managerial Position or Manager at the Starting-line
